Parking at Pittsburgh AirportSeveral parking options are available for travelers to and from the airport. Short term parking, the closest to the airport building, offers hourly and daily rates. Long term parking is connected to the airport by way of a moving walkway. It is available for hourly and daily parking. Extended parking is the least expensive option, and has only daily rates. A 24-hour shuttle service to the Landside building is available to travelers parking in extended parking. Passing Through Security at PITWith more than 10 million travelers passing through each year and over 190 non-stop flights per day, Pittsburgh Airport is busy. Passengers should arrive 90 minutes prior to a domestic flight and two hours before an international flight in order to allow enough time to pass through security and arrive at the departure gate. From a quick bagel, salad or wrap at Au Bon Pain to a sandwich at Sbarro, Quizno's, or Subway, the Airmall provides a quick bite to travelers. Sit down restaurants with wait staff include TGI Friday's, Samuel Adams Brewhouse, O'Brien's Grille & Pub and Fat Tuesday. City of Bridges Cafe, located in the Landside terminal, offers a view of the Pittsburgh cityscape in addition to its traditional fare.
